Dog Days of Summer!

For us dog owners, summer is all about keeping our pups safe and cool to keep them from overheating or dehydrating. During the summer, when I take my pups, Donald and Daisy, to the dog park I use a pet stroller because of the long distance from the park to my house. They love sitting in the stroller and jump right in after wearing themselves out at the dog park! As a dog mom I have all my essentials with me for my little pets! I carry a toy, some water, and snacks. I’m going to share with you my list of items that will get you through the summer with your four legged friend too!

Canine Hardware Chuckit! Mega Ball Launcher $16: Don’t throw out your arm or your back while exercising your pooch at the park! Instead use this ball launcher that will go farther and faster for your dog. They can have fun and you can relax. Just scoop up the ball and easily launch it away.

Shea Pet Shea Butter and Aloe Treatment Balm $20: First necessity that comes to mind when summer rolls around is sunscreen for ourselves but we also have to worry about our beloved dogs. Even though we might want to just put the sunscreen we use on them, we cannot. Instead, using a 100% natural, organic and fair trade balm with shea butter and aloe can help stop irritated dry skin and help heal hotspots on their skin.

H2O 4K9 Stainless Steel K9 Water Bottle $15: All I can say is that I love this bottle! It is a two-in-one bottle where the lid is actually used as a bowl for easy transport, use and packing up. It’s also 100% recyclable! You can take this bottle out into the heat knowing it will stay cool and is made just for your pup!

Dogger Stroller System $275: This luxury stroller is designed to help senior or mobility challenged dogs. I use it for my dogs when they get really tired after a long walk or serious play session at the park! It may be un-necessary but trust me it comes in handy when you don’t want to carry them on a hot summer day.

Cloud Star Soft & Chewy Buddy Biscuits $15: After a day of fun in the doggy park the next best thing for your pup is a drink of water with a little snack to recharge. These treats are soft treats that are easy to chew and digest. And to make it easier on you the bag is resealable so that they stay fresh!

Harry Barker Leash $24.95: Walk your dog in style with the Harry Barker Leash. This leash is light weight, super durable and made of 100% certified recycled plastics!

Best In Park Distinguished Collar $89.95: Last but not least we cannot forget a stylish collar for the day out in the park. This leash was inspired by the quality and craftsmanship of horse bridles and saddles. It is made from high-grade leather and looks so preppy and stylish!

Nicole Miller Pet Bag Dispenser $15: Don’t get stuck leaving poop on the sidewalk. For a day in the park you have to make sure you have enough poo baggies. This pet bag dispenser is functional and fashionable and made by one of my favorite designers.
