We take celebrating our nation’s independence seriously and like to make it seriously fun even when we’re off the clock! So we wanted to share with our loyal readers some of our favorite things about the 4th (fireworks and Declaration of Independence and products that make them even better. I think we all agree that spending time with family & eating grilled goodness are top of the chart, but what is your favorite part of 4th of July?

Dana

One of my favorite parts of the 4th of July is getting everyone together to play some good old fashioned yard games between, or during, burgers but before the fireworks. A classic that never gets old is the game of horse shoes like this Horsehoes Set from Pottery Barn. The game is so simple that you can even play it with a drink in your hand. That rises this country classic to the top of my list of the best yard games for the 4th of July, but don’t forget to thow in a game of bolo toss, croquet, ladder ball or “corn hole” too.

I love that the 4th of July is an outdoor holiday. Beach, pool, games, eating, watching fireworks- they all take place outdoors. It’s exactly the kind of day you think about in the middle of the winter when you think it will never get warm again.  If you’re eating outdoors, you’re going to need The Pit Boss BBQ Tool Belt. It can hold everything anyone would need when they’re behind a grill. Insulated drink holders, a bottle opener on retractable reel, carabiners for grilling tools, and plenty of useful pockets all within reach on this amazing belt. July 4th grilling will never be the same.

There is nothing better than a good old fashioned pool party on the Fourth of July. When I show up, I need a cute & roomy tote to hold my bag of tricks: sunblock, a change of clothes & a container of my homemade Sangria! I love this Tory Burch Beach Tote because it has the room and the style I need for the rest of the summer.

My favorite part of the 4th of July is barbequing and celebrating with family and friends. The product that will make celebration just a little more entertaining is the Margaritaville DM2000 Frozen Drink Maker, Stainless Steel. This blender makes the perfect frozen margarita with its tough ice crushing ability and is perfect for any hot summer day. Cheers!

For me, the 4th of July is all about being outdoors with family and friends. My ideal day would be barbecuing poolside. What’s better than lounging in the pool and eating hamburgers? The Americana Pool Float from Urban Outfitters is comfortable, relaxing and looks super patriotic!

Felicia

My favorite part on the 4th of July is when the whole family gets together and spend the day just barbequing every possible protein! One product that would make the barbeque even better would be a Snow Cone Machine  because it is sweet, frosty, fun, and now it can be made at home! It is the perfect summer treat! The snow cone machine is great for my whole family because no matter how old we are, we are all kids at heart!
