I’m going to 5 weddings this year and as a gift guru there are high expectations from the bride & groom as far as my wedding gift goes. But, with so many weddings, I have to get really creative with my budget. Here are some ideas that stretch your funds without risking your friendship.

Picnic Backpack – $35 – loaded with melamine dishes, goblets, flatware, napkins bread knife, wine key, insulated pocket to keep food & wine cool & exterior pockets for easy access to your cell phone and other items, this backpack has everything needed to keep romance and adventure alive in their relationship, alfresco style.

Reclaimed Wine Bottle Wind Chime – $60 – This 30″ long wind chime is made from colored reclaimed bottles that are melted down and formed into beautiful drops and has a natural drift wood top. This is a colorful gift that they can hang outside of their home for years to come.

Martha Stewart Collection 24″ Park Leaves Platter – $50 – They will serve large entrees like a grilled fish, steak or pork chops in style with this stunning aluminum platter that has realistic leaf detailing.

Wedding Platter – $50 – Hand painted in charming detail, this earthenware platter features two lovebirds & can have 2 names hand painted up to 9 characters each with any date to commemorate their big day.

Personalized photo canvas – $70 – take your favorite photo of the happy couple and blow it up on a canvas for them to display in their home. The canvas adds a museum like quality to any image and will be a treasured keep sake.

Jonathan Adler Dachshund White Resin Bookends – $30 – Add a little whimsy to their new home with these cute book ends shaped like a dachshund.
