Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (a.k.a “OR”) is the world’s largest outdoor sports industry gathering! This is THE place to find the hot products, the latest trends and see the “coming soon” goods from over 1000 outdoor lifestyle brands.

The trick for a Gift Guru is to find the fun, unique, helpful and ultimately “gift-able” products from the thousands on hand.  Here’s one I love:

The Gift: Liberty BottleWorks bottles (available now starting around $16)

The Scoop: Pride radiates from Liberty Bottleworks CEO Tim Andis when he tells you about the Liberty Bottles works story…and it’s quite a story.  A LB bottle is a lot different than nearly all water bottles you see out there.  First, LB products are made in American by Americans.  Next, although LB bottles come in both standard “straight up” solid colors and striking artist designed prints, all LB bottles are “green”.

The bottles’ green-ness comes from being the only American made 100% recycled (and recyclable) aluminum bottle in the marketplace; the bottles are independently lab certified to be non-toxic, non-leaching and 100% BPA free.  LB bottle tops are also unique having helpful 1/4 turn on/off design which is easy use and hard to spill.  And not that the LB needs another chapter to their story, but LB sees themselves as corporate stewards with the company financially giving back to various organizations from sales each bottle sold.  It’s so easy to root for Liberty Bottleworks.

A Great Gift For: Everyone needs a water bottle to reduce the use of single-use containers!
