Dad’s Secret Weapon: Glomate
Parents have tons of responsibilities. One of my (not so) serious jobs as a dad is to run bedroom security each night.
Lately, there’s been a little situation around how dark a room is allowed to be at bedtime and also, what may or may not be hiding in the room while certain children are sleeping. I calmly let my girls know that I’m on the case as I sweep the room clear of any unwanted riff-raff.
Additionally, I’ve employed a secret weapon to add another layer of security in the room. It’s the Tykelight Glomate. The Glomate is basically the Cadillac of night lights. Glomate’s soft colors glow more than they shine, so the soft lighting helps make the room well lit yet not bright. My girls love Glomate’s fun colors too which continually dissolve from on shade to the next and will automatically shut off once the finally hit they hay.
But maybe the coolest thing about the Glomate portable and can be taken off its base and used as a handheld flashlight. The Glomate gets over ten hours of use per charge while emitting heat-free LED light, so it’s just as parent-friendly as it is kid-friendly.
