Father’s Day – The Last Minute Zone

Father’s Day is this Sunday June 17th. So, in the gifting world, we have entered the “Last Minute” zone. Last Minute doesn’t quite mean the situation is dire yet, but it does mean you should really put the Father’s Day gift plan into action. Here are a few ideas for dad in the “Last Minute” zone.

Yes, there are only a few days until Father’s Day, but here’s a last minute option that always goes over great. There’s no better gift than the gift of time spent with a loved one. So, take dad out to dinner or if you’re not geographically close, send dad an e-gift card (sent instantly via email) to a great restaurant. A choice dads love is an e-gift card to The Cheesecake Factory. He’ll love the great meal, but he’ll cherish the time spent with friends and family even more.

Another strong last minute gift idea is a gift basket. Gifts.com has tons of gift basket gift ideas that still can be delivered to dad’s front door in time for his big day. Whether he likes food, snacks, fruit or even beer, there’s a gift basket with his name written all over it! My pick is this Snack Gift Basket loaded with tons of munchies dad will love….and hopefully share with the family!

And lastly, an off-the-beaten-path way to go for dad is with an experience gift. With an experience gift, dad actually gets to partake in an actual experience. So based on his interest and personality, dad could try some really cool stuff like a stock car driving experience, a mountain bike adventure, or maybe a cooking class. And what makes these gifts last minute is that they’re giving and received via e-mailable gift card. Here’s where you can find all the experience gifts available in dad’s neck of the woods.

Just remember, whatever you decide for a gift, just take a moment this Father’s Day and let dad know you think he’s the greatest!

Happy Father’s Day!!
