Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I remember counting down the days ’til Christmas many months in advance on a calendar in my mother’s home. And even now, I find myself happily flipping the calendar pages, knowing Christmas is waiting at the end! I love to cook as much as I love to entertain, so I love getting gifts that’ll make both hobbies that much more enjoyable. And, I love giving all the foodies in my life things that I’ve found particularly helpful or thoughtful. Here are a few of those gifts, courtesy of and QVC.

Board games can be so much fun during holiday parties and has Wineopoly, where you buy wine, collect grapes, and trade them in for decanters! You even learn about wine as you play. Perfect for any wine lover.

I love getting families together in the kitchen, and a mother-daughter apron set  is the perfect way to inspire new traditions or make existing ones that are much more meaningful.

Every year my mother allowed us to open one gift on Christmas Eve. Consider following the same tradition and give your kids or grandkids this Cookies for Santa Personalized Plate . They’ll fill it to the brim with cookies!

Think stocking stuffers, gifts for co-workers, or better yet, decorative place settings for your holiday table. Who wouldn’t love 12 Handmade Christmas Cake Pops

I think it’s a great idea to get kids in the kitchen as early as possible. And, I don’t know any child (or teenager!) who wouldn’t love to build a gingerbread candy cottage  during the holidays. Send this gift early!

No kitchen is complete without a KitchenAid 4.5-qt 300-Watt 10 Speed Tilt-Head Stand Mixer. It’s the one appliance you’ll find on every foodie’s list. It’s an investment, but one for a lifetime. You’ll make his or her holiday.

Every dish in this versatile Temp-tations Old World 13-Piece Lid-it Oven-to-Table Set is oven, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher safe. And they look beautiful on any table. A gift for every foodie.

From parties and potlucks to grandmother’s house and back. The chef in your life needs a way to carry food with confidence. These tight-locking Lock & Lock 6-Piece Serve & Store Entertaining Set delivers. Every time.

When in doubt, give the gift of food. These soft, buttery, flaky croissants are shipped direct from France and are just divine. Bake and deliver, or have the box of Authentic Gourmet 26 French-Made Butter Croissants shipped to your recipient.

There’s nothing like the image of Santa and his reindeer to take me back to the Christmases of my childhood. I imagine I’m not alone in that sentiment, and I bet any recipient would love this fresh balsam Santa’s Ride Fresh Balsam Centerpiece by Valerie, Delivery 12/17.

Happy holidays, everyone! Make great meals and great memories this year!
