Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (a.k.a “OR”) is the world’s largest outdoor sports industry gathering! This is THE place to find the hot products, the latest trends and see the “coming soon” goods from over 1000 outdoor lifestyle brands.

The trick for a Gift Guru is to find the fun, unique, helpful and ultimately “gift-able” products from the thousands on hand. Here’s one I love:

The Scoop: If a picture is worth a thousand words, an HD 3D video shot with a GoPro 3D System is worth a ton more than a blog post…but here it goes. The GoPro 3D HERO System is the hardware and software that allows a thrill seeker link two GoPro HERO HD cameras (not included with the system) to shoot and produce stunning 3D videos.

Jaws were dropping all over the place in front of the GoPro booth at Outdoor Retailer as the 3D demo reel played on huge hi def screens. With waves virtually splashing in faces and snow chunks seemingly falling into laps, you instantly realized that action sports were made for 3D. And who’s better than GoPro at capturing all the thrill seeking action in HD?
