Guru Resolution: Dress Like a Lady

In previous years, I have chosen unattainable resolutions like eating healthier, losing weight, saving money, and becoming fluent in a second language. I’m not persistent in achieving these goals so they always end up falling by the wayside well before spring. This year, I want to choose a goal that I can actually accomplish because it is fun enough to keep me motivated! So, my New Year’s Resolution is to upgrade my wardrobe. Although I have always been a huge fan of following the latest fashion, the older I get, the more sophisticated I want to dress. My fashion inspirations are women that I like to call “fancy ladies,” like Alexa Chung, Emma Stone and Miranda Kerr. They keep their looks fresh and young, but still look polished. I want my new look to include sharp button downs, lots of girly dresses and skirts and cute ballet flats. The better I dress, the better I feel, so I am ready to take on 2013 one look at time. Happy New Year all! See all of the Gifts.com Gift Guru 2013 New Year’s Resolutions and shop our New Year’s Resolution Gifts too!
