In the gifting world, we’ve always known that compared to Mother’s Day, dad’s get the short end of the gifting stick when it comes to Father’s Day. Frankly, Moms are a much bigger deal. But don’t dads deserve a little more on their big day?
Here are two fun stats to illustrate the divide between how we honor dads vs. moms on their big days. First, we spend about 30% more on mom for her big day than dad (but it’s the thought that counts!!). Even more telling, while Mother’s Day sees the most phone call volume of the year, Father’s Day sees the most collect call volume
