Introducing our Newest Addition to the Gifts Team!

We’d like to introduce you to the newest member of our Gifts team, Elizabeth, aka Liz T!

Christmas isn’t even over yet and we already know we’d barely make it through the season without her.

So as part of the “hazing” process, we asked Liz to share with us and the Giftrap community, what gifts she’ll be picking up this year as well as what she’s asking Santa for, herself.

This is my first holiday season at Gifts.com and already I’m getting phone calls from friends on what would be the perfect gift for that special someone on their list. For me this is nothing new, since I spent 3 years working at Kate Spade and customers asked me that same question time and time again.

I also have a big family. I’m one of five, with two sisters and two brothers with very different personalities and interests. Over the last several years as my immediate family grew we decided to implement a secret Santa.

This year it was no surprise I got my brother Michael for the third year in a row. He’s a big foodie and loves anything spicy and trying new things.

This year I got him Oliver Dipping Oil Set from William Sonoma, also Tabasco family of flavors gift box set of 7 and the North Face E-TIP Gloves which is perfect for him for when he goes running.

I also like to do little fun stocking stuffers for my sisters and sister-in-law. This year I choose these sparkly Kate Spade Gumdrop Stud Earrings. I love all Kate Spade jewelry and the beautiful packaging and assortment of fun colors it comes in.

My sisters always look forward to their stylish stocking stuffers every year. For my mother this year who is a known beauty product addict, I got her this spa set and the Make Mischief Nook Cover.

My mother and I love fresh products especially in the winter. They have the power to literally turn your skin into silk. For my dad who is the most difficult to shop for, my sister and I split his gift and bought him Soda Stream Penguin Sparkling Water Maker. We know he loves seltzer and he can’t hate this gift.

Along with my Secret Santa and my parents I also have three nephews and a niece to buy for. My oldest nephew Owen who is 3, asked for a fire truck and since he has about 1,000 fire trucks, I choose to buy him this Lego City Cargo Train Set.

For my niece who is an accessory junkie at the age of 2, I bought her a Personalized Jewelry Box and some fun necklaces and bracelets from J.CREW Crew Cuts. For my nephew James I bought him the Clothbound Charles Dickens Christmas Carol Book.

So now that you know my gift list, it’s time for me to tell you what I want Santa (Mom) to buy me this year.

1. Anything from J.Crew (except please no purple or pea green colors again Santa)

2. Sorel Caribou Boots – best looking winter boots out there

3. An versatile black bag – MARC BY MARC JACOBS Classic Q Hillier Hobo

4. Most beauty & spa gift sets especially fresh, Bliss, Nars or Bumble & Bumble products.

5. The big-ticket gift – a MacBook Pro Laptop

6. WHITE socks!!!!! (nothing past my ankles please or would be considered festive)
