We are down the 11th hour and even though I love Halloween, I am still without a costume! If you are like me and are desperate for a quick change into something festive, I have some emergency costume ideas to save the day. The kids can’t have all the fun!

T-shirt Costumes – Everybody from Target

to Busted Tees has some really great costume tees this year for the ultimate in lazy costume buying. They go far beyond the classic tuxedo and the “This is my costume” shirts of the old days. But those are still fun too! I love the SuperMan or the Mrs. Potato Head costume

Make a frame out of cardboard (i.e. polaroid or baroque style) & be a picture of yourself! You can also frame a poster of a famous painting and cut out the face to poke yours through, or drape the famous painting behind you as the backdrop with the frame in front. There’s also one pre-made on Amazon.

Wear all one color and be “Red” or “blue” or whatever your favorite color is. The Blue Queen or the Red Rock Star would be really fun to hunt down the pieces for at a local thrift shop.
Go to the party store with your girlfriends and buy gear to pretend you’re a bachelorette party The Party Store is a great place to find last minute costumes in general. You can pretend to be a little kid’s birthday party or even a baby shower!

And if you really want to throw people for a loop, stop by Urban Outfitters and pick up one of these crazy Kigurumi costumes that are more like snuggies but are sure to be the most comfortable Halloween costume that you’ve ever worn!

No matter what you decide to do, I hope that you have a safe, fun, and delicious Halloween. And, if you need to get in the Halloween Spirit you should crank up our Halloween Playlist on Spotify! It has all of the Halloween classics and some surprises on there for almost 2 hours of spooktacular jams.
