New Outdoor Sports Craze: Slacklining

Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (a.k.a “OR”) is the world’s largest outdoor sports industry gathering! This is THE place to find the hot products, the latest trends and see the “coming soon” goods from over 1000 outdoor lifestyle brands.

The Scoop: Slacklining is a sport that’s gaining popularity especially in outdoors and mountain sports circles. Imagine a sport that combines elements of a balance beam, a tightrope and trampoline. Once the balance element is tackled, the slackline is then used to showcase athleticism and style. I’ve tried the slackline and it’s not easy, but seeing the experts do their thing really makes you want to get our there and give it a whirl. And if you want to get into the game, Gibbon is the sport leading brand you’ll need to know.
