NFL Kicks Off With New Fan Gear

With apologies to Madden NFL 13, the real journey to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans starts tonight. If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting for tonight for about seven months. So in honor of tonight’s kickoff, it’s time to literally gear up and hunker down for the next five months and indulge your passion for pigskin.  Here are some great new looks for the NFL’s brand spanking new season.

One big off-season move we’ll quickly notice is the league’s now suiting up in Nike gear. We’ve seen how Nike how has really stepped up with some amazing looks for college football, and now it’s time to strut their stuff in the NFL. As a fan, it’s really exciting to see Nike bring their swagger to team gear.

Every week the pros will adorn the “NFL Elite” jersey. It’s basically the Alpha Dog of athletic performance gear. The over-the-top die hard fan will most likely be emailing Santa for this $250 prized possession. But for many fans, Nike’s “Game Day” jersey will provide all the esthetics they’re looking for without some of the sticker shock.

Nike’s statement tees have no equal in sports gear apparel. The parade of super tees has only just begun but here are some standouts. The “For Life” is a street cred tee that lets other fans know exactly where you stand. I love the iconic “KNOWS” tee. You KNOW fans will absolutely love these player and team tees! And the “Team Dedication” tee makes sure the ladies aren’t left out on the team gear action.

While Nike’s got it covered up top, the “On Field 59FIFTY® Structured Fitted Hat” by New Era may be a mouthful, but it’s a brand new look that’s very strong in the looks department. And then there’s Franklin’s “Fan Face” mask.  It’s an oldie but a goldie for those who long ago transitioned from being a fan to being a fanatic!

Lastly, fans love to “talk the talk”, and now they can “walk the walk” when it comes to showing their team colors. Nike is now offering the NikeId line to the Dunk shoe (high top and low sneaker) in a  fully customized an NFL team sneaker. You pick the color scheme and get ready up for MVF (Most Valuable Fan) consideration.

So….are you ready for some football?!?!
