Pantone Color of the Year: Emerald Green
Now it’s not just Dorothy, we all are going to the Emerald City in 2013. In case you haven’t heard, emerald green is officially the biggest color of the year according to Pantone. Since 1963, “The PANTONE® name [has been] known worldwide as the standard language for color communication from designer to manufacturer to retailer to customer.” In other words, they know color like no one else. So when they say that emerald green is the color of the year, you can be sure you’ll be seeing a lot of it!
I am a huge fan of jewel tones so I can’t wait to scoop up as much of this luxurious color as possible while it’s hot and in copious quantities. In fact, all of us editors at Gifts.com are so excited about it that we created a Pinterest board to celebrate this fabulous color. So far we’ve seen everything from inspiring landscapes to ski goggles to sequined evening gowns standing out in emerald green. This way we (and You!) can keep track of all of the most amazing emerald green products and designs that find their way into the world throughout 2013.
So, please follow our 2013 Color of the Year Pinterest Board to stay up on everything emerald from your favorite friends at Gifts.com.
Have you seen something stunning and emerald? Share the link and your Pinterest name below so that we can add it to our Pinterest board and give you a shout out. If your suggestions blow us away with their creativity and beauty, we just might invite you to contribute to the board!
