Put a Bird on It

I love birds. Whether they’re out in nature or immortalized in sculpture, stencil or screen print, they really do make everything better.

My obsession is partly because they’re descendants of dinosaurs, partly because they have the freedom to fly and mostly because each type of bird is so beautifully unique from the next. I could go on all day, but instead, I put together a list of my favorite bird related gift ideas to prove that everything looks better with a bird on it.

All of this said, I just have to say that I am not a fan of caged birds. See reason #2 of my obsession to find out why. So, if you know someone who loves birds as much as I do OR who happens to love Portlandia and their satire of the recent bird obsession sweeping the nation…one of my favorite bird gift ideas will make them soar.
