Even though it’s technically spring, this time of the year it can feel light years away. Here in New York City, home base to the Gifts.com Gift Gurus, it’s still way too cold. While we are yearning for spring dresses and shorts, it’s still more appropriate to stay bundled in coats and scarves. The easiest way to start integrating spring fashions into our everyday look is through make-up! It doesn’t matter whether it’s balmy or bitingly cold, makeup is always a great accessory. And one of the biggest spring beauty trends for 2013 is bright and bold eye makeup. Hello spring! Runway looks featured unique lined and shadowed eyes in spring’s hottest shades: peach, blue, lavender (you name it, it was there).

If you want to incorporate spring pastels into your beauty routine try the Sephora Collection Smokey Studio 2 palette. Despite its name, this amazing palette has 48 different eye shadows to choose from (and lipstick to boot!) all in an easy, transportable case. It is truly the easiest way to achieve any of these enviable spring looks!

If you are looking for a more bold palette, I suggest the Make Up Forever Technicolor Palette. This 1930s cinema inspired product has 8 amazing shades to mix and match in creating your spring eye motif.

Want to try the trend, but don’t want to invest? NARS Duo Eyeshadow in  Rated R features a bold blue and an electric green combination. Because blue and green are such huge eye colors for spring, this palette is a no-brainer!
