It’s no secret that the letter “G” is very important if the gifting world. Where would Gifts.com and the Gift Gurus be without the most important letter in gifting?

So it’s no surprise that we once gain turn to the letter “G” to help get us on the right track to find a great Father’s Day gift. Our “5 G’s Of Father’s Day Gifting” gift guide highlights some quintessentially “dad” hobbies, interests and themes- and they all conveniently begin with our favorite letter!

“G” #1. Gadgets.  Gadgets and consumer electronics are one of the top searches on Gifts.com. So picking out a new toy, preferably catering to his interests, will go over great. Whether it’s a higher ticket gift like an ipad or a cool accessory to complement this new toy, gadgets can make great gifts. Is he a reader? The new nook Simple Touch with GlowLight has turned a lot of heads lately. We also have tons of other fun electronic goodies dad will love.

“G” #2. Grilling. Do you know a dad who doesn’t love to grill? There’s certainly no shortage of products to take Dad’s grilling to the next level. Whether it’s accessories for the grill, books on grilling or even fresh steaks or chops, he’ll appreciate the thought. The new book “Wicked Good Barbeque” will take dad’s grilling game to new heights. Here are some more great grilling gift ideas.

“G” #3. Golf.  If Dad’s lucky (…very lucky), he’ll get to slip away for a few hours and play some golf on Father’s Day. Not surprisingly golf gifts are a very popular choice for all those PGA Champ wannabes out there. Gift Guru Tip: Steer clear of golf equipment unless he’s dropped a specific hint about the gear he wants. Instead, think of accessories or golf-themed gifts like some personalized golf art work.

“G” #4. Grooming.  Grooming gifts can be a great gift idea because most guys are a little bit hesitant to ask for them, yet tons of guys would like to try them. One great option is a grooming kit sampler. That way Dad can try a bunch of different products. And if he doesn’t like one, it’s no biggie. If he ends up really liking one of the products, then you know what to get him for his birthday! A great choice is “The Perfect Shave” kit by Anthony Logistics. Here are gifts to keep dad looking and feeling good.

“G” #5. Gift Baskets. The quickest way to dad’s heart is through is belly. So for many dads the gift of food is a can’t miss way to make his day special. You know dads tastes, so find a gift basket with all the goodies you know he likes. The great thing about a gift basket is that usually the whole family gets into the action to help him polish it off. The Snack Gift Basket is sure to please crowd-pleaser!
