What is a Parent’s Favorite Time of Year? ….Back to School!

It’s time for you and your kids to get back into the normal school routine and that means hitting the stores to stock up for the new year. Back to school shopping is all about basic supplies and the newest fall apparel. This year stay organized in style with these new trends your kids will be sure to love.

This year buy a backpack with a fun twist. From glittery messenger bags to backpacks with fun added accessories that are bold and unique this season. Some of my favorites include my first backpack from Lands’ End. What I love about this line that it includes your very own ugly doll for extra added fun. Lands’ End also has a great selection of backpacks for older kids as well.

Make lunch time fun and fashionable this year with lunch packs & accessories. My personal favorite is Potterybarn Kids Mackenzie collection and Lands’ End lunch boxes. What I love about Lands’ End lunch boxes is that they are designed by kids to keep food refrigerator cold for up to 5 hours.

Don’t forget the cool school supplies, stock up on some fun such as stack a doodle crayons, pens and a fun personalized pencil case . New technology will also be arriving this fall with the release of the new Leapfrog LeapPad 2. This kid friendly tablet brings educational content, personal creativity and smart gaming fun into the hands of kids age 4 to 9.

Start the year off with fun graphic tees and cool shorts. For those chilly mornings add a cool plaid shirt or light jacket for added warmth. Gap kids and 77 kids carry a great selection for both boys and girls.

Beat the fall chill with super chunky knits mixed with bold color cords or leggings. I love this look paired with super cute sparkly flats for girls. For boys’ pair chunky sweaters with a plaid shirt and laid back kicks such as converse  for a playful preppy look.
