Luckily, these amazing faux pumpkins have all the charm and character of real pumpkins without the annoying shelf life. They can be carved just like the real thing and you can even put them away and save them for next year! Just don't try to make pie with them! Give them to your kids as a just because gift, or pass them along to a friend as a happy housewarming! |

Friday Rap Up: Get Your Gift OnSeptember 28, 2007Posted by: Julie K.
For the weekend kickoff: It's National Drink a Beer Day (though I can't vouch for how official this is) so start with this Black & Tan Tool Kit. For the guy who likes variety: Sign him up for the Beer of the Month Club and he'll get a new 12-pack of premium microbrews every month for a year. For your pet: Beer for dogs? Yes! Beer for dogs! For the Thinker drinker: A book that'll teach him How to Brew Like a Monk and a set of traditional Belgium Chimay Beer Glasses. (via Uncrate)
For the frat boy: An 80 oz. Beer Belly beverage bag to wear around his waist–perfect for the serious tailgater and the serious student because research shows that drinking beer boosts your memory. (via That's Fit) |
For Cool Guys to Keep WarmSeptember 27, 2007Posted by: Dana S. There’s nothing better than a fall day that’s finally cool enough for layers. And there’s nothing cooler than layering with a hip hoodie, like this Bens Night in Tokyo sweatshirt. This season, trendy teen guys will fall for the Tokyo print, dark colors and retro fit. If birthday shopping for the teen in your life has you ready to just mail a check, get him this sweatshirt instead. Not only will he love his new gift, he’ll wonder how you suddenly got so cool. (Your secret’s safe with me!). |
Feed His Halo 3 HungerSeptember 27, 2007Posted by: Dana S.
And if that's not enough, give accessories that'll enhance the experience even more. Fans that want to play via Xbox Live will need the Halo 3 Wireless Headset. And for serious fans of the game–Halo 3 paraphernalia like an Alien Shield Terry Wristband and a Master Chief statue. |
Trick AND TreatSeptember 27, 2007Posted by: Gillian J. This time of year, a Pumpkin 'N Posies flower arrangement is a treat that does the trick for wishing a happy birthday, Boss's Day, congratulations, speedy recovery, or housewarming! You really can't go wrong with flowers, but if you show special care in choosing a seasonal arrangement like this autumnal Pumpkin 'N Posies mix of flowers, you can really earn extra brownie points. Or maybe I should call them cookie points, since the flowers are delivered in an amber glass cookie jar that makes a great decoration once the flowers fade! |
Who’s Throwing the Watch Party?September 26, 2007Posted by: Julie K.
If you're a big spender, crush the watch party competition with the Outdoor Home Theater Screen. Just imagine a Thursday night with McDreamy, McSteamy and the rest of the Grey's cast on this giant TV!

Puppy ChowSeptember 26, 2007Posted by: Dana S.
Or you can go for a healthier option like this colorful pineapple costume. Your little dog will look absolutely adorable and ready for any tropical themed luau Halloween party. Better yet, if you have a couple dogs, dress one up as the pineapple and another up as a strawberry! |
Drink to Corporate Gift GivingSeptember 26, 2007Posted by: Gillian J.
Wine gift baskets are a wonderful alternative. This Rex Goliath California Quartet is a nice option for sharing because it has bottles of both red and white wine. And it comes with a few snacks just in case there aren't any leftover snacks floating around the office.

Must Gift TVSeptember 25, 2007Posted by: Julie K.
Maybe now that Ted of How I Met Your Mother, is single he'll finally suit up! Or maybe Barney should encourage him to make the fashion leap with…wait for it…a trendy blazer. The Big Bang Theory was basically the Geeks meet a Trendanista. Now let's say Sheldon and Leonard want to get Penny a housewarming gift (other than their Indian dinner offering that is). Since a TV would be a bit extravagant, I'd suggest a set of funky vases in trendy colors, filled with flowers of course!
The Bachelor…is this show still on? Someone send a copy of Be Honest–You're Not That Into Him Either to whoever got kicked off last night, oh who am I kidding, send it to every single girl on the show because these girls need to "raise their standards and reach for the love they deserve" or get a real date already! And big news for CSI: Miami's Horatio–he's a dad! Maybe someone should get a framed print of his son's matching DNA. What would you give your favorite TV character? |
