This time of year, I can't think of anything more nostalgic than an afternoon of carving pumpkins with a couple of friends or family members. The only thing I don't like about pumpkins is how moldy and messy they get around Thanksgiving after they've been sitting on doorsteps (or worse yet, in an apartment!) all season long.
