Start a Faux Pumpkin Patch

Brookstone Round Faux PumpkinsThis time of year, I can't think of anything more nostalgic than an afternoon of carving pumpkins with a couple of friends or family members. The only thing I don't like about pumpkins is how moldy and messy they get around Thanksgiving after they've been sitting on doorsteps (or worse yet, in an apartment!) all season long.

Luckily, these amazing faux pumpkins have all the charm and character of real pumpkins without the annoying shelf life. They can be carved just like the real thing and you can even put them away and save them for next year! Just don't try to make pie with them! Give them to your kids as a just because gift, or pass them along to a friend as a happy housewarming!

Pumpkin 'N Posies

This time of year, a Pumpkin 'N Posies flower arrangement is a treat that does the trick for wishing a happy birthday, Boss's Day, congratulations, speedy recovery, or housewarming! You really can't go wrong with flowers, but if you show special care in choosing a seasonal arrangement like this autumnal Pumpkin 'N Posies mix of flowers, you can really earn extra brownie points. Or maybe I should call them cookie points, since the flowers are delivered in an amber glass cookie jar that makes a great decoration once the flowers fade!

Pineapple CostumeLooking for a pet costume that will make your pooch look yummy enough to eat? Here are two options I love. You can go for a classic hot dog costume (all done up with condiments of course). The bun is so easy to put on that even big pets like German Shepherds can pull off the look.

Or you can go for a healthier option like this colorful pineapple costume. Your little dog will look absolutely adorable and ready for any tropical themed luau Halloween party. Better yet, if you have a couple dogs, dress one up as the pineapple and another up as a strawberry!

Rex Goliath California QuartetIf you're still searching for the perfect corporate gift basket to send to your clients and customers this holiday, you might want to think outside the food gift basket. As you probably know from working in your own office, plenty of food will come across your desk this December. So wouldn't it be nice to have something to wash it all down with?

Wine gift baskets are a wonderful alternative. This Rex Goliath California Quartet is a nice option for sharing because it has bottles of both red and white wine. And it comes with a few snacks just in case there aren't any leftover snacks floating around the office.

Starbucks SonataOr if you want to stay sober, give a coffee gift basket like the Starbuck's Sonata. It's filled with three varieties of coffee that are sure to beat any office brew as well as hot chocolate, tea and a few sweet treats. It also includes two mugs–perfect to give to a team of two.

Must Gift TV

Velveteen Carnaby Jacket We have fall TV fever at Gifts.com–our TiVos are on overload, we're dying to see every premiere and it got us thinking…what if our favorite characters asked the Gift Gurus for advice?

Maybe now that Ted of How I Met Your Mother, is single he'll finally suit up! Or maybe Barney should encourage him to make the fashion leap with…wait for it…a trendy blazer.

The Big Bang Theory was basically the Geeks meet a Trendanista. Now let's say Sheldon and Leonard want to get Penny a housewarming gift (other than their Indian dinner offering that is). Since a TV would be a bit extravagant, I'd suggest a set of funky vases in trendy colors, filled with flowers of course!

Radio Control Digital Camera PlaneChuck's sister could've given a better birthday gift than her failed party. A better idea? A geeky gadget like this Radio Controlled Digital Camera Spy Plane…who knows, it could come in handy later!

The Bachelor…is this show still on? Someone send a copy of Be Honest–You're Not That Into Him Either to whoever got kicked off last night, oh who am I kidding, send it to every single girl on the show because these girls need to "raise their standards and reach for the love they deserve" or get a real date already!

And big news for CSI: Miami's Horatio–he's a dad! Maybe someone should get a framed print of his son's matching DNA.

What would you give your favorite TV character?
