Good HarajukuSeptember 30, 2008Posted by: Dana S.
Harajuku lovers will go b-a-n-a-n-a-s for the super-kawaii (that's Japanese for "cute") doll-shaped decanters containing combos of Gwen’s favorite scents. There's one for each real-life Harajuku girl, from Lil' Angel (a sporty prepster with a citrusy floral essence) to G (Gwen's own cheeky Alice in Wonderland character with a fruity-oriental-gourmand aroma). Choose the girl that best fits your personality, but (trust us!) after meeting one, you'll have to have them all! And since they come in both .33-oz and 1-oz bottles, there’s one for every budget. Pick one up for any celeb-lover or trendanista on your list. |
Happy Holy DaySeptember 29, 2008Posted by: Gillian J.
This large basket is packed with everyone's favorite snacks, and everything is kosher. Also try bringing a kosher wine or dessert to symbolize a sweet new year. If you're still stumped on what to bring check out some of our other choices here. I wish a shana tova ("good year") to all who are celebrating. |
On a Roll Bridesmaid GiftSeptember 26, 2008Posted by: Megan H.
I particularly love them for an Autumn wedding because of the golden brown leather color which is sure to hold up through the seasons. Each bag comes with a three-letter monogram so they're won't be any mix-ups on the big day. For destination weddings, scoop up a set of bold print rolls for all your bridesmaids. After all, they're the ones who will keep you sane on your big day. |
Tailgating 101September 25, 2008Posted by: Dan T.
One key to putting together a memorable feast in the parking lot (or even at home) is being prepared and having the right tools. You'll certainly be on the right track if you work a small yet powerful, portable grilling machine, like the Coleman RoadTrip LXE Grill, a foldable, propane-fueled appliance with ironing board-like legs and wheels for easy transport. And don't forget the accessories: a Heritage Professional Barbecue Grill Tool Set (an all-in-one kit for grill masters) and a Grillslinger BBQ Utensil Belt (a personalized holster for tools and beverages). If you cook it, they will come. So why leave this oh-so-crucial part of the tailgating mix to chance. With The NFL Game Day Cookbook, you'll be whipping up Bloody Mary wings and whiskey-marinated rib-eyes in no time. And finally, you're not just here for the party, are you? After all, there is a game to be played. Team-themed party-enablers will assure no one second guesses whom you're rooting for. There are NFL Team Stainless Steel Cocktail Shakers for the classy pro fans, NCAA Football Tailgating Grills for the parking-lot-party college types and NFL Snack Helmets for I-have-a-32-inch-plasma breed. |
Get Your Stuff out of the GutterSeptember 23, 2008Posted by: Dan T.
This remote-controlled gutter cleaner safely and thoroughly scrubs away leaves, twigs and dirt. It's a real time saver, plus it's a lot safer than climbing up and down on a ladder all day. And let's face it, a remote control gutter cleaner is kinda cool. I love the Looj for those handy men who are never quite done with yard work and who believe a little preventative home maintenance goes a long way. |
Hat’s off to FallSeptember 22, 2008Posted by: Gillian J.
These charming caps come in various styles with unexpected twists like a ribbon-threaded chain in the style of Chanel and a houndstooth pattern with a delicate bow. All are sure to make you smile (and keep you warm) while you wait out the next two seasons. It's the perfect fall accessory for your favorite Trendanista. |
Does-it-All Media RecorderSeptember 19, 2008Posted by: Dan T.
Here's the lowdown: The OSD is a compact unit that plugs into your TV and/or home media device (cable box, DVD player, camcorder, DVR, PC, etc.). Simple on-screen directions guide you through the process, allowing you to record and store all of your video media (old VHS recordings, tv programs) to your OSD library with the touch of a few buttons. Even better, these files can become portable with a USB drive, iPod, cell phone, whatever. Gadget lovers will fawn over its ability to record, store, and transfer all types of video content in a matter of minutes. Make a mental note to get one for all the gizmo kings and queens on your gift list, and you'll score major points. |
Office Nerf WarsSeptember 18, 2008Posted by: Dan T.
Sound intimidating? You bet it is. The fully automatic Nerf dart cannon can fire up to three darts per second. Complete with a 25 dart belt, ammo box and foldable tripod. The EBF-25 will shock and awe even the most formidable opponents into submission. They'll have no idea what hit them (literally). And if the EBF-25 doesn't take care of them, the Nerf Firefly REV-8 or the Recon CS-6 Dart Blaster will. I'm having a blast with my EBF-25, and I'm pretty sure kids (even ones who work from 9 to 5) will be very impressed with Nerf's latest efforts. |
Where’s Your Caddy?September 17, 2008Posted by: Dana S.
Not your average plastic bucket, these containers let your dorm resident stake her claim with a single initial smack-dab on the front. And aside from the practicalities, they come in such fun colors, they make me want to go back to my dorm days just to try one out. They're a back-to-school must-have for every soon-to-be coed—and teen girls who just want a bit more organization! |
Happy Experiential AnniversarySeptember 16, 2008Posted by: Gillian J.
You can try a private chef, golf lessons, or go for the more adventurous gifts like a helicopter ride or a hot air balloon ride. Bottom line: Schedule time to reconnect and have some fun. I love the idea of taking dance classes together, because let’s face it, when was the last time the two of you tangoed? I thought so. And if dancing isn’t your game, you can check out our new Experiential section to find out what's available in your neck of the woods. |
