A popular gift that doesn't seem to go away is the portable media player. 2009 brought two exciting updates to already strong performers.  We are loving the new Zune HD and the 5th generation iPod Nano with video recorder. And it's still hard to beat the iPod Touch for overall functionality. With Nook entering the e-reader fray, 2009 might just be the year remembered as Round I in the e-reader wars.
