Celebrating Anniversary MilestonesAugust 10, 2009Posted by: Dan T.
Here’s a Gift Guru tip. Sign up with Gifts.com and set an anniversary reminder (and set some birthday reminders while you’re at it). We’ll then send you an email reminder you that your anniversary is approaching (and then another email again on the day of), and we’ll sprinkle in some great gift ideas as well. Now, sometimes folks get confused about the milestone anniversary gift issue. I believe you can never go wrong when you give a gift from the heart, but it’s sometimes fun to use anniversary milestones to come up with a creative gift. For example, in September, we’ll be marking our 9th anniversary. According to anniversary milestones this is traditionally our “pottery” anniversary with the modern interpretation making it our “leather” anniversary. This leather wine carrier- accompanied by a little bubbly- might just be the way I’m going this year. Here’s a list of the “traditional” and “modern” anniversary milestones. Set those gift reminders! |
