Earbags Sprigs Banjees Wrist WalletRecently, while I was on the hunt for some hot holiday gifts at a trade show, this cool Earbags Sprigs Banjees Wrist Wallet caught my eye. I decided to give it a test run of my own over Memorial Day weekend. Being a weekend adventurer I went everywhere — rode my bike all around the city, walked the beach, and hit a couple of BBQ's. While I pedaled away the wallet held on tight. It's a little tricky cramming everything in there, but once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing and I enjoyed every minute of my holiday weekend without once worrying if I dropped my wallet along the way. It's the perfect gift for an travel enthusiast or the person on the go.

Jellie Shoe Comeback

June 16, 2008

Kate Spade Maui Jelly Flip FlopWhen it comes to jelly shoes, I had a pair in the '80s and then another in the '90s and well…apparently it's time to buy another pair. This time around jellies have been given the designer treatment, so they're more comfortable and better looking than the ones I sported.

I especially love these colorful Maui Jelly Flip Flops by Kate Spade. The sandals are just as cute as the jellies of old (brightly colored, made of rubber, easy to clean) and yet much cooler (literally, as they actually let your feet breathe). They'd make an awesome gift for graduation or a summer birthday for the Trendanista in your life!

Around the World Beer BucketWith Mother's Day, birthdays, graduations and weddings, sometimes Father's Day, which is this Sunday, can get lost in the shuffle.  But Dads deserve their day, and the Gift Gurus have pulled together a great selection of last minute gifts to treat your dad to a super Sunday.

Being a globe trotting Gift Guru, I would love to take my dad on a trip around the world for Father's Day. But since I'm running short on time (and money), this Around the World Beer Bucket will have do the trick instead.

This manly steel gift basket comes filled with everything a beer lover needs: six imported brews (from Stella to Newcastle) and some great salty snacks, because what's a beer without bar snacks? I have a feeling most lager-loving dads will appreciate this worldly gift, even if it doesn't include a passport.

Heads up, procrastinators!  Order this basket up until Friday, June 13th 7PM EDT and you can be assured it will arrive in time for Father's Day.

Personalized Script Name NecklaceRight now every girl across the country is asking herself one thing: What am I going to wear to see Sex and the City: the Movie? Silly? Perhaps. But diehard SATC fans have been waiting four years for the show to hit the big screen. If you have a BFF who's dying to know whether Carrie marries Big or if Samantha has finally settled down, whet her appetite with these inspired gifts.

If she's the Carrie of the group, she'll love bringing back the nameplate yet again with a Personalized Script Name Necklace made just for her.

If you can't afford to get her Jimmy Choos, these fabulous (and more affordable) triple-strap pumps are sure to turn heads.

Not everyone has a Magnolia Bakery right around the corner. But assorted dozen cupcakes from Mrs. Beasleys should more than suffice.

Now all she needs is her very own Mr. Big.

Picnic in Style

Lands' End Picnic Wine BasketMy life in the city is pretty hectic. Between a full-time job, catching a show when I can, going to dinner parties, meeting girlfriends for happy hour, and squeezing in the rare workout, there's not much time left to find a quiet spot and just sit. That's why I love the idea of this Lands End Picnic Wine Basket — it encourages people to escape the insanity and head to the park or even out to the country for a relaxing afternoon.

With four china plates, four goblets, cloth napkins and a tablecloth, two insulated bags (one for wine and one for cheese and fruit), and a stainless steel service set for four, the picnic wine basket has all the trappings for a perfect day in the park with close friends or loved ones. A perfect anniversary or birthday gift!

King Pepper Mill Baseball BatYou gotta love when two of a guy's favorite interests come together to make one great gift idea. Like when you cross America's most popular past-time with the thrill of the grill to form this baseball bat peppermill!

This 28" long beech wood bat is not only a unique gift idea, it's practical too. No more singed knuckles from getting them too close to the grill. Also, the bat can be brandished in a menacing fashion if anyone gets too close to your steaks before they're done!

I love this one for Dad for Father's Day, but it's certainly an ideal gift for any baseball fan who plans to be chillin' and grillin' this summer.
