A Secret Spring Garden

March 20, 2008
Posted by: Megan H.

Moonlit Garden Bulb PlanterI wish I could grow a glorious blooming garden. But thanks to my a) black thumb and b) lack of a patch of green space to call my own, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. Unless someone presents me with this pretty Moonlit Garden Bulb Planter (hint, hint).

The easy-grows-it garden is filled with already-planted, just-sprouting hyacinth and tulips bulbs. The spring-colored blossoms are expected to bloom within a week or so of purchase—making it a delightful, lasting thank you gift or housewarming gift, especially for the gardening-challenged folks like myself. Happy spring!

Polliwalks SandalsI know I know, Croc shoes are huge these days, but why not give your little lad or lass these shamrock-green Children's Gator Sandal by Polliwalks instead? With the same comfortable fit and breathable design, they can stomp over land and water or chase any rainbow. But the unique thing about Polliwalks is that everywhere kids roam, their shoes will leave animal tracks behind! If gators aren't his or her thing, try a frog, duck or ladybug pair.

Easter Gift with a Splash

Bath Time Fun SetJust because babies can’t partake in egg hunts or devour chocolate bunnies doesn’t mean they don’t want something fun for Easter. So try thinking outside the basket with this adorb Bath Time Fun Gift.

The big pink bunny holds tons of entertaining bath toys in its mesh net, like three rubber duckies, a loofah, and other tub-worthy playthings. There’s also a soft plush bunny for when bath time is over and baby is dry. And even though it’s perfectly suited for Easter, it’ll thankfully last way longer than those colored eggs.

Bath Time Fun Gift starting at $24.99

Psycho Bunny Bunny Crest Silk TieDad's miss out on all the Easter fun. They don’t get pretty new dresses or candy-laden baskets, and they usually get stuck hiding the eggs and carving the ham. This year, make Pops part of the (fun) festivities with a holiday-appropriate Bunny Crest Silk Tie from Psycho Bunny.

The handcrafted English tie is sure to have him looking his Sunday best, and the Psycho Bunny crest pattern (a clever play on the ever-popular skull and crossbones motif) has dapper written all over it. Any guy (not just your hubby or old man) will appreciate such stylish neckwear, on Easter and all year long.

Funny Bunny Pooch

March 7, 2008

BunnyI always loved Easter so much when I was a kid, not just for the egg hunts and Easter baskets, but also for the pretty outfits I'd get to wear. The frilly dresses and white patent leather shoes made me feel like a little Easter princess and always marked the start of Spring.

These days I'm too old to be an Easter princess, but that doesn't mean I don't get a kick out of seeing the next generation celebrate in all their frilly style. And I'm not just talking about kids! Dogs can get into the action now, too, with a funny bunny costume. In this adorable get-up, your little pooch will hop into everyone's heart this Easter!

Bunny Costume starting at $33
