Gag Gift for Corporate ClimbersJanuary 14, 2008Posted by: Megan H. If you know someone who has declared 2008 the year to make a career–or to at least make it to the next rung on the corporate ladder–these corporate flashcards, featuring a pronunciation guide and definition and synonyms for 60 terms, are a great way to brush them up on their jargon and help fight that case of post-holiday, back-to-work blues. While they won't guarantee an instant promotion or dream job, the flashcards will at least provide a helpful guide to climbing the corporate ladder. They're also a great gift for the recent college grad still looking for his or her first "real job." |
Stylin’ Laptop BagsJanuary 11, 2008Posted by: Dan T.
With colorful designs and sturdy construction, their bags are a nice option. Many of the color schemes will appeal more to women, but there certainly are some stronger colors the guys can also pull off. I really like the packs because there are tons of pockets to store all your stuff–camera, phone, iPod, snacks. Golla gear is a fine choice for the style conscious gadget gal (or guy) who loves to make a statement. Stay tuned to Gifts.com as this Golla gear becomes available later this year. |

The Power of the GridOctober 18, 2007Posted by: Megan H.
I have a friend who used to be a "normal" newspaper reader. She would flip right to the horoscope section, quickly followed by the editorials and then the day’s biggest stories. But that was all before she discovered Sudoku. Now all I hear about is that little number grid! Want to discuss the big news of the day? Please—she has more important things to worry about—like where to fit the ‘2’! She's getting a little less maniac about the puzzle now, but she still enjoys Sudoku when traveling and commuting so I think she'd love this digital Sudoku game. It would make an ideal bon voyage gift or congratulatory gift on a new job for someone about to spend a lot of time on a train or plane or bus. And if you're ready to start your Christmas shopping, it's a great stocking stuffer. Just make sure to warn them about its potential for addiction! |
