When we want to catch up on pet news we read Dogster's For the Love of the Dog Blog. Joy Ward, the blog's editor, owns four dogs of her own. Today she's here to tell us what she's wishing for this holiday…

When shopping for gifts for my dogs (and I do that WAY too often) I look for things that will give them a different experience (like a new toy), is something I know they'll love to eat or is something I know they'll enjoy (like shirts and bandannas). Like every other furmom, I know they don't need any of these things but I love seeing their faces light up when I pull out the new toys, cookies or other things for them.

Christmas Bulb Toys: Star is going to love these toys! They're tough and they have a minty flavor. Besides the shape is different from her other toys.

Mrs Beasley's Doggie Holiday Treats: Annie is SUCH a food hound! She'll love this yummy collection of treats. But she has to share some with the rest of the Ward pack!

Fleece Scarf: Sol loves dressing up, but being a Weimaraner it is SOOOO hard to find him fun clothing. He will love this scarf! It's fuzzy and soft!

Brad PittBull Toy: As a good Missouri Beagle, Beatrice loves Brad Pitt. And now she can carry him (sort of) around and play with him! Cool!

Luxury Car Seat Cover for Pets: This one's for me! While I love my pack, I must admit I get tired of cleaning, grey, red, white and black dog hair off my car's backseat. And it will really dress up my xB!
