The 2012 Giftees are underway and you are probably wondering what the panel of judges is & who they are, right?  It’s up to You, the public, to ultimately decide on the Best Gifts of the Year.  But, when nominations ended, the esteemed judges helped select the Top 10 gift ideas in each category before handing it back over to You to determine the winners.  I’m sad to say that this is our last judge highlight of the 2012 Giftee Awards season, and we are so happy to have her on board! We hope you like her as much as we do.

Bio: Drea Lester is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Red Tricycle, an online city guide for busy parents. Their mission is simple: to help parents have more fun with their kids. As a self-certified “gadget and gear geek,” she has virtually owned, tested, or tried every single piece of popular baby and kid equipment on the market!

 

Q:  Why are you excited to be a judge for the Giftees ?

I love sharing great ideas and good tips. This is an opportunity to help people with what can be a big challenge for some.

 

Q:  What is the best gift that you ever gave?

I gave my husband a telescope for his birthday one year, but I added to it by setting up a romantic picnic on top of a hill and we had a stargazing date.

 

Q:  What is your favorite thing about giving gifts?

Finding creative ways to make people happy. You don’t necessarily need to spend a lot of money to make a lasting memory.

 

Q:  What is the best gift that you ever got?

A beautiful photo frame with my wedding vows on a piece of handmade paper.

 

Q:  What is a dream gift that you would love to get?

More time in the day! But that’s not possible so really I would love anything that helps me relax.

 

Q:  What do you like to do when you’re off the clock?

Spend time with my family and doing fun adventures.

 

Q:  How long have you been a blogger/brand?

3 years

 

Q:  Why do you love what you do?

I love the ever changing challenge of the start-up world. There is always some new and exciting problem to tackle!
