Jamie Greenspan kicked off her career at a top Los Angeles talent agency where she spent much of her time finding the perfect gifts for their roster of A-list clients. After leaving the entertainment industry, she worked in fashion before finding her true calling at Evite. Creative, particular and chic, Jamie won’t settle until she finds the perfect gifts – for others, or herself.

 

The 2012 Giftees are underway and you’re probably wondering what the panel of judges is & who they are, right?  It’s up to You, the public, to nominate your favorite gifts of the year and to ultimately decide on the winners.  But, when nominations end, the esteemed judges help select the Top 10 products in each category before handing it back over to You to determine the winners.  Well, I’m going to be highlighting one judge at a time from the panel of respected bloggers, business women, and social media mavens who know a thing or two about what makes a great gift.  Enjoy!

 

Q:  Why are you excited to be a judge for the Giftees ?

A:  It’s fun for me to see the amazing new gift ideas from Gifts.com and spread the word about my favorites.

 

Q:  What is the best gift that you ever gave?

A:  The best gift I ever gave was a surprise 25th anniversary party for my parents – how can I top that?

A:  I’m a Trendanista – though I have a feeling that will change, if/when I have kids!

 

Q:  What is your favorite thing about giving gifts?

A:  I really love gift-giving more than receiving. I get a high from finding the perfect gift for the perfect person and will often gift regardless of a corresponding holiday or occasion.

 

Q:  What is the best gift that you ever got?

A:  My engagement ring!

 

Q:  What is a dream gift that you would love to get?

A:  That’s a tough one. I am waiting for a new camera, a step up from my point-and-shoot.

 

Q:  What do you like to do when you’re off the clock?

A:  I am currently in business school part-time, so I don’t get much time “off the clock!” When I do, I enjoy spending time with my friends and husband.

 

Q:  How long have you been a blogger/brand?

A:  Evite has been around since 1998, and I joined the team one year ago.

 

Q:  Why do you love what you do?

A:  Evite is about bringing people together to celebrate life – I love being a part of other people’s good times.
