It seems like it comes earlier every year, but the Holiday shopping season is upon us. Now here’s the good news….it’s still early. And with a solid gift shopping plan, there will be no need to do any panicked gift purchasing this year.

So the big question now ….”where do I start”?

The first thing a gift shopper should do is start to get organized. You should start to think about who is on your gift list this year. Also, start thinking about your gift budget in terms of the big picture, as well as, estimating a budget per person on your list.
Here’s a Gift Guru tip: Head over to our Holiday Printables page (and book mark it too!). This page is super resourceful and full of free…I repeat FREE…printable lists, tags, labels and holiday letter templates to help get you on your way to an organized holiday season.

Power on your printer because you’re going to want to print out at least one of our Gift List templates. These are fun holiday-themed shopping lists that will help you stay organized and festive this season.

But some other really cool (and did I mention free?), printables you should check out are our Gift Tags & Gift Labels, Jar Labels (home made goodies make great gifts) and my favorite, Letters to Santa*.

Let’s recap. The holiday gift shopping clock has started ticking. You still have plenty of time. Stay organized with these gifting tools. And check out Gifts.com to find the most popular Christmas gifts for 2012 in one spot.

* As a parent, I’m always amazed how cooperative the kids can get when a letter to Santa is used as “incentive”!
