Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Today we are celebrating one of our favorite Mexican Fiestas, Cinco de Mayo! In honor of this fun filled day, we thought we would share a few great Cinco de Mayo inspired cocktails courtesy of everyone’s favorite tequila…Patron.

 Patron Perfect Margarita

Ingredients:

Patron Silver 1 1/2 oz.

Patron Citronge 1/2 oz.

Orange juice 1/2 juice of a small lemon

Sweet and sour mix

Lime wheel for garnish

Method:

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add all of the ingredients and shake well so that to have an even mixture. Pour into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Patron-Sangria-Blanca

Patron Sangria Blanca

Patron Silver 1 oz.

Patron Citronge 1/2 oz.

Apricot brandy 1/2 oz

Pinot Grigio 1 1/2 oz.

1/2 lime

2 teaspoons of sugar

Pineapple juice 1/2 oz.

Dash of club soda

2 peeled and seeded blood orange wedges, plus unpeeled ones for garnish

2 peeled and seeded lemon wedges, plus unpeeled ones for more garnish

Method

In a mixing glass, muddle lime, lemon wedges, blood orange wedges, and sugar. Add liquors, pinot grigio and pineapple juice and shake well. Serve in a 12 oz highball glass and top with club soda. Garnish with lemon, lime, and blood orange wedges.

Patron-Passion-Tini

Patron Passion Tini

Patron Anejo 1 oz.

Passion fruit syrup 1/2 oz.

2 lemon squeezes

Simple syrup 1/4 oz.

Lemon corkscrew for garnish

Method

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon corkscrew.

Mexican Peach

Patron Reposado 1 oz.

Peach schnapps 1/2 oz.

Margarita mix 1/2 oz.

Cranberry juice 1/2 oz.

1 lime squeeze

Peach slice for garnish

Sea salt or margarita salt for glass rim

Method

Salt the rim of a glass. Combine the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into the serving glass with ice. Garnish with a peach slice.

Patron Michelada-Reposado

Michelada Reposado

Patron Reposado 1 oz.

Ancho salt (kosher salt and ancho chile)

I bottle Pilsner beer

1 can of chipotle peppers with sauce

Lime for garnish

Method

Rim glass with salt. Fill glass with ice. Pour Patrón Reposado into glass, top with beer, and add chipotle sauce to taste. Garnish with lime.
