Giftee Awards Guest Judge: Pronto

We have gotten some truly stellar folks to join us in our search for the best gifts of 2011 and it’s hard to believe that we’re down to our final judge feature! Be sure to get your 2011 Giftee Award nomination in by Friday, October 21st for your chance to win $500!

So, without further ado please meet Marie Masters, Director of Product at Pronto.com. “Pronto launched in 2006 as the most comprehensive shopping comparison engine. Since then [they] have continued to add merchants and products so that users can be sure they are finding the absolute lowest price.” We love a good deal! In fact, Gifts.com even features Pronto’s offers in our search results to make it even easier for you find the perfect gift at the perfect price.

But, enough about us! Marie, being the savvy online shopper that she is professionally and personally , is an excellent addition to our panel of judges. We hope she’ll take her prowess for the best deal and apply it to helping us choose the finalists for the 2011 Giftee Awards.

When I asked her my standard, “Why are you excited to be a judge for the Giftees?” Marie answered with this; “I look forward to the holidays because I am a gift-giving geek. I actually keep a spreadsheet to record gift ideas I come across the rest of the year (no joke). I’m really excited to see what ideas other people come up with!”

Well Marie, we have no doubt that you are going to see some ideas that will make it into one of those spreadsheets of yours. And, I have to share Marie’s story about the best gift she ever got because it is so great. It’s always reassuring to hear of a man that can plan ahead and give great gifts!

“My husband put together “The Twelve Days of Marie Christine” leading up to my birthday 3 years ago modeled after “The Twelve Days of Christmas” song. The best day was definitely “Day 5″ because it was “5 Golden Rings”…one of which was my engagement ring!”

We are super excited to have Marie on our panel of judges for the 2011 Giftee Awards. Be sure to nominate your favorite gift by October 21st for your chance to win $500!
