Sites We Love: YPULSE

YPULSE is a blog that follows the teen market. Even though I still feel like a teenager on the inside, as Teen Editor for Gifts.com, I am always in need of fresh inspiration on what’s hot and what’s not. YPULSE was started by Anastasia Goodstein who has been following teen trends in the media since graduating college in 1995. The website chronicles new teen trends and their impact on what teens want and are buying.

YPULSE gives daily doses of teen inspiration by covering teen research on the internet, technology, movies, music, celebrities, fashion and anything else you can think of. It’s also super easy to filter because you can sort by age group from tween to twenties. They also compile information from other web resources to gather the daily and weekly buzzed about subjects that matter most to teens.

Some of my favorite recent posts have been about Gifs, Tumblr and “what should we call”.  These pieces are great because knowing what teens are in to helps me find the best gifts to match. The site does an amazing job of combining fun information with trends about the Millennial Generation.

The bottom line is: teens are really hard to get gifts for. But a little inspiration from YPULSE goes a long way in helping me help you give great gifts to the teens in your life! See some of my Top Gifts for Teens.
