2013 New York International Gift Fair

The New York International Gift Fair, also known as NYIGF to us insiders, is the king of all gift fairs. You will find more gifts under one roof here, than anywhere else in the USA. And it is right around the corner (January 26th – 30th)! NYIGF is the largest conference created exclusively for gift trade personnel (reporters & buyers) to scout out the hottest products for the coming year, spot some trends, and mingle. It takes place twice a year at the Jacob Javits Center, or “Javits” as we call it, in New York City.

The NYIGF draws 35,000 attendees from all 50 states and 80+ countries. It is produced twice a year by GLM Shows and is open to the trade only. NYIGF hosts 2,800 exhibiting companies showcasing the very best lines across the home, lifestyle and gift spectrum. Let’s guest that each exhibiting company has 50 products, which is a very low guestimate. That means that there are approximately 140,000 ideas in one space. That is A LOT of gift ideas, folks.
