CES Favorites: A New Rukus

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world’s largest consumer electronics trade show. With over 150,000 industry attendees on hand to check out over 2500 exhibitors showcasing the latest technology that is ready for your living room, the 1.6 million feet of exhibit space is a gadget fiend’s paradise.
Consumer electronics are still a white hot and fast growing gift category. My perspective is different than your typical gadget geek because I’m looking to find fun, cool and unique stuff that could make a great gift.
For all my CES favorites come back here or take a peek at our CES 2013 Pinterest board.
Here’s one I kinda like!
The Product: The Rukus XL from Eton (early Q2 around $200 pictured above)
The Scoop: The Rukus Solar won the 2012 Giftee Award for the Best Eco-Friendly Gift. In 2013 Eton is adding two new family members to the Rukus line. The Rukus XL is the bigger (and more powerful) sibling of the Solar but like its younger award-winning sib, can wirelessly stream music via Bluetooth….and in a really big way.
No power – no problem. Not only does the Rukus XL keep the party going indoors and out with booming sound, but thanks to the large solar panel, the XL can also be used to charge mobile devices as well.
A Great Gift For: I love the XL for some who brings the party with them wherever they go.
