Consumer Electronics Show Favorites: XRocker Gaming Chair
The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world’s largest consumer technology trade show. Nearly 150,000 attendees are on hand to check out over 2500 exhibitors showcasing their latest products on more than 1.6 million feet of exhibit space. This trade show is massive!
Since consumer electronics are the hottest and (still) fastest growing gift segment, CES gives me a chance to get an early look at some great gadgets. CES also is a great place to spot the bigger picture trends in the electronics arena.
The sheer amount of products at CES is staggering, but I have turned Las Vegas upside down and found some cool ones that should make great gifts. Here are some of my favorites from CES 2012.
The Product: A yet to be named bean bag gaming chair (tentatively available the first half of 2012 and priced in the $125 range*)
The Scoop: This one caught my eye big-time! I’m calling it a “game-bag chair” but this cool gaming chair is so new it doesn’t have a name yet. Even without a proper name, the fun folks at XRocker have a winner on their hands with this one.
This is a really comfy bean bag gaming chair that holds it’s chair shape. Every side of the chair is LOADED with all types and size pockets that can hold every imaginable gaming accessory. A few well placed beverage holders, and gamers of all ages will be set.
A Great Gift For: The gamer who’s looking for a a gaming chair with plenty of game. I can also this the chair living in the bed room of any grade school or tween -aged kid.
