LifeProof Case For iPad

Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (a.k.a. “OR”), in Salt Lake City, is the world’s largest outdoor sports industry gathering! With over 25,000 exhibitors and attendees, OR is THE place to find the hot products, the browse latest trends and see great “coming soon” gear from over 1000 outdoor lifestyle brands.

With what seems like acres of cool outdoor products, the trick for a Gift Guru is to find the fun, unique, helpful and ultimately “gift-able” products from the thousands on hand.

Here’s a great one that caught my eye at this year’s show:

The Gift: The LifeProof nüüd case for iPad (coming Fall 2012 for around $150)

The Scoop: Earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show, I was blown away by the LifeProof case for iPhone.  As a refresher, the LifeProof cases deliver four types of “proof” protection for your iPhone -waterproof, dirt-proof, snow-proof and shock-proof.

Well, you knew it was only a matter of time until LifeProof released a case for the iPad.  What’s great about the LifeProof case is not only do you have piece of mind that your iPad (or other idevice) is very well protected, but the case opens up an entire new world of photo and video making possibilities.
