Shark Week is Back!

If you’re a fan of the Discovery Channel, it is indeed the most wonderful time of the year.  That’s right, Discovery Channel’s Shark Week kicks off on Sunday.  For the next week, we’ll all become armchair elasmobranchologists (a.k.a shark specialist) starting August 1st, with the Shark Week kickoff show “Ultimate Air Jaws” at 9PM followed by “Into the Shark Bite” at 10 PM.  Here’s  the rest of the Shark Week programming.  And if you need to have your shark fix attending to right now, check out this shark cam  with live video of the “Ocean Voyager” exhibit at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Ga.

For more than 20 years, Shark Week has entertained, educated and terrified us with amazing shows dedicated to all things shark.  And lucky for us, the Discovery Channel Store has just released some awesome Shark Week gear.  Some of my favorites include the Shark Week Wrap Print Tee, the Shark Week Hoodie Shirt, and the “It’s Shark Week” T-Shirt for the kiddos.  Here are some more great gift ideas for the shark lover.
