Toy Fair: Barbie Fashion Fun for 2012

Toy Fair is the largest international toy and game trade show in the Western Hemisphere. Tens of thousands are on hand to check out over 1,000 exhibitors showcasing and previewing the hottest games, toys and trends for kids (of all ages!).
Each year the Gift Gurus walk the over 350,000 square feet of toys and games. It’s truly is a labor of love to scour the Javits Convention Center and get an early look at what’s new and exciting.
So, what were the hottest, most fun things we saw at Toy Fair this year? We couldn’t be more excited to share some of our favorites:
The Gift: Barbie Photo Fashion Doll (August 2012 for around $50) and Barbie Design & Dress Studio (available now for around $22)
The Scoop: As a young girl I was the ultimate Barbie fanatic! Every gift I received was Barbie, from the mansion and the convertible to the dolls, I had just about every Barbie product on the market. This year at Toy Fair, Barbie and her friends did not disappoint, the new products for 2012 are sure to have every Barbie-crazed girl shouting for joy.
Barbie Photo Fashion Doll allows you to have a photo shoot with Barbie and all your best friends. The doll is an actual digital camera that allows you to take pictures and select different graphics and frames for endless creativity and tons of fun. Photo Fashion Barbie can hold up 100 images and it’s very easy upload onto a computer to create fashion slide shows.
For the young Fashionistas that just can’t wait until August, available now is the Barbie Design & Dress Studio Doll. This new line allows girls to become Barbie’s very own fashion designer and stylist. The design and dress studio comes with, a Barbie doll with a dress, 4 fashions, 2 plastic stencils, 1 holographic sticker sheet, 3 marker pens, a pair of shoes and a necklace. This kit allows girls to customize any outfit, so Barbie will look ultra-fabulous every time she leaves her dream house.
