Toy Fair Favorites: HEXBUG Nano V2

Out of the tens of thousands of new toys at the 2013 American International Toy Fair, the newly announced Nano V2 from HEXBUG was one of my favorites and the kids are gonna love it…here’s why.

Toy Name: The HEXBUG Nano V2

The Scoop: HEXBUGS are a blast, but until now, they were mostly good at creeping and crawling their way around horizontally. With the gravity-defying Nano V2 lineup, HEXBUGS can now climb vertically, around corners, and through tubes. With the Nano V2 lineup, the building of HEXBUG environments will be much more dynamic and tons of fun. But words probably don’t do the Nano V2 lineup justice. Check out the video (below) of the Nano V2 prototype showcased by HEXBUG at Toy Fair. So cool!!

A Great Gift For: HEXBUG fans are going to have to have the Nano V2. Lovers of geeky tech toys will love these too. Lastly, I love HEXBUGS for kid’s birthday gifts too.

When & How Much? HEXBUG Nano V2 will range in price from around $8 and top out around $50 for the more elaborate sets. The Nano V2 lineup will hit stores in the Fall of 2013.

It truly is a labor of love (and comfy shoes!) to get an early look at what’s new and exciting for the kiddos. This industry only event is where the big sellers for the holidays are determined…yes, they are determined in February! And, as always, we’re taking you with us into the belly of the beast to see what’s hot before it hits the shelves.
